Nha Trang Salinity Prevention Dam
The Cai River in Nha Trang has a saltwater prevention dam that includes a 400-meter long traffic bridge. This project features a reinforced concrete pillar dam with five compartments that are 30 meters wide. The dam uses two-panel flat valve gates made of high-strength steel to prevent saltwater from entering the river S355. On the right river bank, there are boat locks that consist of a 67-meter long and 7-meter wide reinforced concrete structure with a two-way automatic ship lock gate.
